Brief Description:

The last three nights I've been adding duct tape to the lower wing and adding flox/micro to the gap between the main spar and the lower wing skin. By the way, duct tape really doesn't cling very well to the lower wing skin.
The main spar, after heat curing, shrinks about 1/4 inch, so epoxy/flox has to be added to make the lower wing skin fit. This seems to be a design flaw. If it's know, that the spar shrinks that much, why not just build that shrinkage into the design? The cure for this kit is to add the epoxy/flox, which is quite heavy, and takes a lot of time and expensive epoxy.
Last night I enlisted the help of my ever-patient wife to help mix epoxy and the epoxy/flox mix, so that could get enough of the mix to fill at least one half of the spar-skin gap. She was a big help. Buy when I popped the skin this morning, it was clear that I didn't use enough, so there were a lot of gaps. Per manual, I filled those gaps this evening. Next is the inboard half of the main spar, where most of the fuel bays reside.
