This is a two day post. Yesterday I finished reinforcing the inboard nose rib with 5 and 14 bid. That 14 bid is almost 1/4 inch thick, by the way. Today I removed the wing attach bracket and trimmed off the 14 bid excess, reinstalled the bracket and drilled the mounting holes in the 14 bid flange. After all that, I started to place the final mounting bolts and lock nuts, and quickly found that I don't have all the correct sized bolts. So I'll order them tonight, and if I get some time this weekend will start fitting the lower wing skin, a step that can be done prior to final fitting of the wing attach bracket.
