Brief Description:

Tonight is the night that I really wonder how anyone could build this airplane without fast built wings and builder's assist. My latest frustration is the outboard aft ribs, the ones that anchor the aileron hinges and define the height of the wing trailing edge, where it meets the aileron. The mahor problem is that the height of the outermost rib at the trailing edge needs to be a certain height, in order to provide a smooth transition from the wing to the aileron. Problem is, however, that when that's done, the outboard cradle doesn't fit the wing skin, because the lower skin is now too high. That also messes up the clearance between the spar closeout and the lower skin, which was originally set using the cradles.. So do I basically disregard the misfit of the outboard cradle? What about the now 1/4 inch gap between the spar closeout and the lower skin? Naturally, and increasingly frustrating, the manual is essentially worthless. The manual assumes that everything fits, which it doesn't.
