Brief Description:

Today was the first day back to actual building in what seems like forever. I cut out the two part main spar close out, and joined it at its middle with a three bid splice on one side. After that cured for four hours, and it was still somewhat flexible, I placed it in position and clamped it up, to make sure it still followed the wing skin. This whole process seemed to take forever, but I did have to spend some time setting up the router to clear the honeycomb from the edges to a depth of about 3/16 inch, and found that not using the ratio pump for a while resulted in the sticking of the ball check valve, so that accounts for some of the time. I also do spend some time cleaning the shop frequently, as dust and debris does accumulate easily.
