Brief Description:

Yesterday I cut down the servo clevises and tapped what remained. They were too long as supplied to accommodate the space available. I ended up with one half inch of threaded length in each clevis, which should be plenty.
Started today by bonding in the trim tab servo mounting plate with Hysol. When it cured enough to be stable, I was able to run the servo through its paces, and check the tab travel. With a small adjustment, I got the travel equal between up and down, about 30 degrees each way.

Then I spent way too much time trying to figure out how to fill the gap between the lower trim tab skin and the lower stabilizer skin. The covered foam method suggested in the manual simply won't work with the nutplates. What I finally decided to try was a 2 bid layup with a flat part ending in a one inch radius curve. I made a proof of concept piece late today, and will try it tomorrow after cure.
