Brief Description:

Not much to photograph tonight. After cutting out the trim tab yesterday, I found some less than straight edges, which I spent some time straightening tonight with heat and clamps. Still not perfect, but much better. After that, I sanded off Hysol squeeze-out from the trim tab spar/skin joint, and laid up micro fillets in preparation for bid layup.

The manual calls for the trim tab hinge to be riveted to the tab and elevator. But for the life of me I can't see how, if I do that, I can ever remove the trim tab without removing the elevator. The alternative is to attach the hinge with screws, which I'm clearly leaning toward. Of course that does add weight. Again not much, but definitely some, and at the very aft part of the elevator to boot. Any suggestions would be welcome.
