Brief Description:  Rib reinforcement continued

Today I decided to start early in the morning, to allow four hours or so for the rib reiforcement to cure so that I could trim the green layup at lunchtime. I still work for a living, so during the week it's a challenge to do the layups and still have enough cure time before bedtime to do the easy trim work with a razor. So I did get one rib done before work, came home at lunch to trim, then do a couple more before dinner, trimming before bedtime. All this allowed for three ribs.

Also today I made contact with an EAA technical counselor, who is very helpful, and will come over soon with another experienced composite builder to see how I'm going. I want to make sure that I'm not screwing up before closing out the elevator skins.

The pictures show the three ribs completed today, 20, 36 and 55 right. It was a bit tricky to layup around the hinge nutplates, but it went alright. Tomorrow more of the same.
