Brief Description: Elevator ribs

After looking at the inboard rib pictures I posted yesterday, I was not happy with what I saw, so went back to re-measure. I discovered an error in fabrication, so I started over with the right inboard elevator rib. Now the right and left are much more symmetrical.
Also today I bit the bullet, and trimmed the trailing edge of the right elevator. That allowed me to fabricate the building line 20, 36, 55 and 72 ribs. After applying three layers of duct tape to the upper elevator skin to simulate the 2bid capstrips, I trial fitted the upper skin to the lower, with the ribs simply placed in position. Several trial fits, accompanied by slight trimming, the skins fit to the ribs and to each other, with straight surfaces and about 1/8 inch width at the trailing edge, as per the manual.
Next step is the left elevator. By the way, the plans are completely useless for this process.
