Brief Description: Fitting elevator to HStab

After allowing the final reinforcement to cure, I attached the center elevator weldment to the spars, and checked the clearance between the HStab trailing edge and the lower elevator skin. During the process, I found my first significant mistake. The elevator weldment, which eventually connects to the control stick, was a bit off level, leaving it a bit skewed in relation to the elevator. Well, that just can't go uncorrected. So I disconnected the elevator halves and filled the holes that allow the weldment to attach to the elevator spar with an epoxy/flox mix. After curing, I will re-drill the holes for the attachment, after leveling the weldment.
One problem here is with the Lancair cradle templates. At BL00, they provide no cutouts for the weldment. Well, where does it go? I'm not real thrilled with the plans.
