Reinforced the aft surface of the elevator spar, by laying up 2 bid glass to intersecting surfaces of spar and elevator skin. Then further reinforced each hinge area with another 2 bid layer. The "sandwich" method of saturating the bid cloth with resin is a huge time and mess saver, and helps with a bubble free result. There is still a learning curve with the layups, but I'm sure that things will get quicker. Overall, I'm pleased with the results so far. After I reinforce the forward face of the spar, then it's time to fabricate the ribs.
