Brief Description: Bonded elevator spars to lower elevator skin
Today began with setting up the router table and 3/16" slotting bit to rout out honeycomb. After a bit of adjustment, it worked perfectly. After that, I skuffed up the lower skins and the spars. Then came placing micro in the grooves on the spars, mounding up a bit above the edges and placing the spars in position, using the hinges. As directed, I weighed the spars down with shot bags, then formed micro fillets along the aft spar joint. After comming back from dinner, the micro had cured substantially, and with luck I can reinforce the aft joint tomorrow with bid.
