Brief Description: Beginning to fit spar to elevator
Tonight I trimmed the excess glass off the spar hinge mounting areas. Next, temporarily attached elevator hinges and drilled out mounting holes. Then re-mounted elevator to Hstab and tried to check travel. Problem is that I couldn't get the spar to really stick to the elevator skin with either instant glue or hot glue. But so far it seems like the elevator travel is free. This weekend I'll try again to check the travel before glassing in the spar. Still no word from Lancair about the wrong rib patterns. I'm afraid I'll have to make my own.
