Brief Description: Reinforcing spar hinge locations
Today I completed the reinforcing of the spar at the elevator hinge locations. I am getting faster with the layups, and am learning a few things. Because it is so easy to trim cured glass, it's better to overlap than to try to cut the glass to the exact size. The fibers pull out at the edges when you work the extra resin out of the glass. With overlapping a good 1/2 inch, fuzzing of the edges is not a problem.
