With my wife Cathy's help today, I finally closed out the right elevator. Working with Hysol is not nearly as easy as regular epoxy, as it is very thick, thus can't be poured to measure. In any event, things went pretty well. It took about 300 grams for the left elevator, about half of the $160.00 quart.
Tomorrow after 24 hours curing, I'll remove the left elevator and close it out as well.
