Brief Description:

Started today trimming the capstrips from yesterday. One strip for some unknown reason did not bond very well, so I re-bonded it with Hysol and put the upper skin back on with weight and will let that cure before placing capstrip reinforcing. Next I balanced the right elevator by slowly trimming the weight I cast earlier this week. The manual calls for the weight to be sufficient to overbalance the elevator by about 3/4 inch, as shown in the first photo below. The manual says to bond the weight in with flox, which is what I did, but added some 2 bid layup as shown in photo three below. I don't want that weight coming loose.
