Again, not much time today. But I did manage to build two of the four left elevator ribs. Using right ribs as a bit of a starting point helps, but doing so reinforces the conclusion that the plans don't work. There is enough difference between the left and right elevators to indicate that the two sides are not idendical, thus custom fitting of the ribs is essential. That's not too surprising, though. Now that I'm getting used to the requirement to actually build the airplane, rather than simply assemble parts, it's ok, and in the long run will be more worth it. Hopefully more time will be available tomorrow.
