Today I trimmed the rudder spar reinforcements, and prepped the reinforced spar for bonding to the right rudder skin. Then I took a good deal of time doing another dry fit of the spar to the rudder skin, mounting the spar to the mounting jig. After dinner, I bonded the spar to the skin with micro, and used a piece of angle iron in the jig setup to help ensure a straight spar, as the hinges must line up along the length of the spar to ensure a free moving rudder.
