Spent quite a bit of time with the windshield, fitting, trimming, making clamps, then finally installing yesterday. Dry fitting revealed the need for some relief cuts at the lower corners, and the need for clamps on the outside to get the edges of the fuselage to fit uniformly and closely to the windshield. I ended up with sixty-two pairs of clamps, so it took quite a while to apply the Hysol, loosely clamp the windshield in position, secure the upper fuselage to the lower, then tighten the clamps. The clamps worked well, so now I'll let it cure. Thanks to Bill and Lester, good friends indeed.
