Brief Description:  Rudder secured and rigged

Why does this stuff take so long? Well, for one thing, these tasks are not those that I've accomplished a thousand times before today. For another thing, the manual is, well, not very helpful. Another thing is that the dozen or so bolts, washers and nuts are all well hidden in impossibly small spaces. So it took me all day, with Cathy's timely help, to securre the internal rudder control rods to the rudder and then internal rudder bellcrank, then secure the Garmin yaw damper, and finally the rudder control cables from the pedal assembly to the rudder bellcrank. This involved quite a few repetitions of the assembly process, until I finally figured out the sequence in which to get all these parts together. After all that, I had to figure out how to rig the rudder controls, so that when the pedals were in a neutral position and aligned with each other, the rudder sat reasonably flush with the VS. In the end, I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
