I was not happy with the upper cowl rigidity. It oil canned enough to make me doubt that real bodywork would be possible, and even if so, that it would last. Brad Simmons suggested just adding two layers of carbon fiber to the inside. So that's what I did. After laying the carbon fiber on, I set the upper cowl on the plane, and secured it in its pre-fitted place. After curing, the cowl is much stiffer, and should do just fine when it comes time for bodywork.
