Spent more time today double checking the fuselage and VS measurements relative to the rudder. They are close. If I'm ever going to progress, I'm just going to have to mount the right stabilizer half and see how it goes. So tonight, in preparation for mounting, I bonded in the Comm-2 antenna to the right VS half. First I had to attach, per manual, the RG-400 cable to the SA-08 antenna. Did that, and secured the mounting nuts with red Locktite. Temporarily secured the antenna with hot glue, then secured with light weight fiberglass cloth. Photo shows peel ply on top of bid.
