Today I added a one bid reinforcement to help secure the yaw damper mount. Since that mount is on the side of the fuselage, I decided to add a bit of insurance to the flox/bid attachment. To do this, I driled through the middle mounting hole of the Garmin servo bracket, then through the phenolic mounting pad, then through the fuselage side. Then I de-cored the fuselage from the outside, then floxed in two -10 bolts and AN470 flat washers, to secure the mounting pad mechanically to the fuselage. After that, I spent quite a while trying to figure out whether to design and build a center console. After quite a bit of thought, I'm not convinced I need it. I'll continue to contemplate this for a while.
