Brief Description:

Interior panels today. I started by tackling the arm rests. I've been putting this off because the arm rests are the anchors of the side panels, and I'm reallly not sure how to get those panels just right. Finally I decided that I've got to just get it done. So I started by making sure that the tops of the shear webs, etc. formed good lines to support the arm rests. I also decided to slant the rear arm rests a bit, down to ten inches above the seat. Next I cut and fitted plywood templates. After I was happy with their fit, I used these templates to cut out my home made panels. They fit well. I'm not ready to bond the arm rests in, though, until I'm a bit further along with flight controls, brake lines, etc.

Next, I fitted the front floorboard and carved out the hardpoints for mounting screws. I decided to make the floorboard into three parts, all removable.
