Brief Description:

The internal rudder controls are works of art. Manual, not so much. The control arm has 3/16 holes for the rod ends that connect to the rudder cables. That's ok. But the parts list shows that the bolts that attach the rod ends are 5/16. No mention of drilling out the existing holes. Also, and more importantly, is that there is no mention of making sure that there is enough clearance between the bolts and the mounting plate, that has by now been reinforced with six bid. Also, the photos show the bolts going in in a downward fashion. Not possible, due to the clearance. So the bolts need to come up from below. Again, not a problem, but would it be asking too much to discuss the issue? In no small part, that's why it takes so much time to do this work. Also today I continued getting the various parts and pieces ready for my trip to Tennessee next weekend.
