Made some pretty good progress today. First I reinforced with 3 bid the elevator idler support. Turned out well, and I'll clean it up tomorrow. Using peel-ply really does give a neater result. After that I mounted the elevator control arm hinges to the bulkhead. I won't install the nutplates yet, just in case the mounting height does not turn out to be ideal. But at some point I had to mount it so that I can get the rods cut to length. Only then can I be really sure of the clearances.
