Since last post I've continued to fret over how to attach the gear leg fairings to the wheel pants and fuselage fairings. I have not been able to find suggestions that really make this issue clear. After a whole lot of thinking, I've decided on a few things. First, the gear leg fairing will not hold the contour of the adjoining fairings by itself. It's got to be supported by a kind of rib. Next, the gear leg fairing will not fit inside either the wheel pant or the fuselage fairing. So what I've decided to do is to make and place contour conforming ribs in the ends of the gear leg fairings, put them in place, and from the inside make attachment flanges. We'll see how this goes.
