Brief Description:

I actually work on this project every day. That work includes actual physical progress on the tasks required, but often means studying the manuals, blueprints, looking at other logs and consulting with the other builders and with Lancair. It's hard to keep time on all that seemingly non-productive work, but it's essential. A good example is the orientation of the flap actuator arms in realation to the inboard arm, connected to the flap motor. No blueprint or manal reference, and thus far no answers from the forum or Lancair.

So this weekend I set that task aside to begin work on the main gear farirings, starting with the wheel pants. Since my pants are slow build, I had to cut out the brake access panels, and form the flange. Did that this morning, then began mounting the brake line fittings mounted on the fuselage.
