Brief Description:

I've been working every day since last post to secure the landing gear receptacle to the spar box. This is a bit of a precise and somewhat messy job. In addition to setting multiple parameters, the biggest issue is sealing off the gap between the receptacles and the spar boxes, so that the "wet epoxy/flox" doesn't just ooze out onto the floor. After some effort, and a distinct learning curve, the result was better than I predicted. The left leg needed a bit of a tweek after the pouring of the epoxy pad. I did that by drilling two mounting bolt holes, inserting temporary bolts to use as a pivot point, then raising the leg just enough to achieve the proper angle, then drilling more mounting bolt holes. Next is completing the bolt holes, then fixing the backing plates.

Manual calls for 43.1 degrees. Really? Would 43 degrees be so bad?
