Today I began reinforcing the flap capstrips. I decided to split this job up into phases. That will take the time pressure off. The plan is to add the micro fillets, wait an hour or so, then before the micro cured, I added the two bid reinforcement. That skips a sanding step, and provides a better bond with the micro fillet. Also, after completing two sections out of six or so, I placed the flap back in the cradles, and weighed it down to help it continue to remain as straight as possible while curing. While the first section was curing, I decided to fill in the margins around the flap inspection panels with micro. Didn't turn out as well as I hoped, so I'll have to re-do some of that process.
