A very frustrating part of building the wings is getting their trailing edges straight. They just don't come out of the crate that way. Book says to heat them and clamp to a straight edge. How hard can that be? Answer? Very hard. There's a really fine line between heating the post-cured wing skin hot enough to become plastic, but not hot enough to burn or de-laminate. Today I tried to build a box around the aileron area, which worked pretty well, and I got the temp up to 260 degrees. Apparently the heating wasn't thourough enough in the right area, so the skin just sprung back to its previous shape after cooling. Later I tried a different method, with some success, but still not good enough.
