Today I sanded yesterday's flox skim coat on the main spar pad. It sanded out well, and the result is much better than the pad on the left wing. After that, I placed one half of a seven bid reinforcement on the inside of the wing attach bracket part of the forward shear web. This requires that the layup adhere to duct tape on the inside of the lower wing skin. Well, that's easier said than done. Seven bid is pretty heavy, and wants to fall down. It is also difficult to keep from forming air pockets in the corners. The only way to overcome both is to keep working it until it cures enough to hold on.
