Finished sanding the main spar pad, then prepped it for a skim coat of flox to fill the minor irregularities in the surface. Then I applied a thin coat of flox, which I'll sand smooth tomorrow. Also, I finished fitting the last four ribs, so I'm officially done with fitting wing ribs, hopefully forever, for this is probably the biggest pain so far. I'm sure that there's more difficult, tedious jobs, such as filling and sanding the wing surfaces, but this one will do till a better one comes along.
I also spent time prepping the ribs for reinforcement in the slosh rib, fuel inlet and hinge attachment areas. Then I cut out enough glass to do the job tomorrow, as well as the task of applying 7 bid in the wing attach bracket area.
