Before bonding in the the weights, I mounted the wing tip, aileron and flap, just to make sure that all gaps are ok and travel is still fine. All those things are right on the money. So I decided to go ahead and bond in the weights, and cover with bid. That went pretty well. After that, I spent a lot of time cleaning and re-organizing the shop, getting ready for the next wing. After the weight bonding cured sufficiently, I re-mounted the aileron, and as expected I lost about 1/5 degree of upward travel. I think I'm going to call that good.
