After trimming the trailing edge of the flap, its painfully clear that the ugly face of concavity has reared its head again. The photo below shows the lower skin of the flap, demonstrating the extent of the concavity. This is caused in very small part by the small extension of the trailing edge. So there are options: take off the trailing edge extension, leaving the flap and aileron not matching; filling the entire concavity with about twenty pounds of micro; filling less than the entirety of the concavity; calling it good. The top of the flap, which is of course the most obvious upon inspection, is fine. I've asked Lancair, but no word yet. Suggestions welcome.
