I've been working on the flap every day, but alas am remiss at logging the work. Anyway, I'm almost ready to close the flap. This process includes trimming the capstrips, sanding and cleaning, and mounting the flap hinge hardward. Also I drilled holes for sheet metal screws to clamp the leading edge of the flap.
