Brief Description:

Sometimes it helps to just back off from a problem, and let it stew for a while. That's where I am with the aileron weights. Gordon Porter pointed me in the right direction, which is to get newer, pre-formed weights from Lancair, like he did. So today I ordered the weights, and will just not do anything on the weights till they come.

So today I started to work on something else. That today was sanding out the flap mount slots where the Hysol squeezed out, then began to reinforce the leading edge. That begins with sanding out the Hysol squeeze out on the leading edge joggle, which seems like an easy task, but not really so much. The next task is to place micro in the top/bottom skin joint area, so that the subsequent 2-bid will not have an air pocket below. So that's about as far as I got today. Actually it felt good to work on something that I don't have to design on the go.
