Brief Description:

Today was the biggest day so far in the construction of this dream catcher. Wing closeout. After several hours of final prep, seven volunteers, not counting, Cathy and Linda Hayllar, who acted as photographer and dinner cookers, closed the left wing. This process is a real ballet, with a short time limit. The largest problem, as I knew it would be, was weighing the Hysol. This is mixed by weight, not by volume, and is a real fiddle to do, due to the extreme viscosity of the Hysol, Part A. This product is the consistency of thick axel gease.

For those interested, a bit over two quarts do the wing up to BL 138, plus the leading and trailing edges. Regular epoxy/flox does the rest. Three quarts would have done the whole wing.

I cannot thank enough the mostlly RV builders who helped today. They have asked that I not publish their names, for fear of retalitaion from fellow RV builders. In any event, a good time was had by all, followed by a wonderful dinner. We'll see how things went, when I check the fuel bay integrity.
