Brief Description:

Another two day post. Popped the lower skin from Thursday night's flox buildup on the main spar. Manual required three, two inch wide expoxy/flox beads at BL 25.5, 81 and 138. This workde fine, but the hardened flox pancake looks like something our dog left for us. During the lower skin fitting, it became obvious that the outboard spar was between 3/8 and 5/8 inch too narrow, thus leaving that much space between the spar and the lower skin. That's too much to make up with micro or flox, so last night I added a thin strip of prepreg, and reinforced it today with 2 bid. I'll trim it to final height tomorrow after it cures overnight. Then, of course, the outboard ribs will need some work as well, to help them fit better to the skin.
