What a frustrating two hours. I decided to reinforce the BL 25.5 aft rib, which needs 7 bid on its entire outboard surface. Thjis is the largest aft rib, so the layup takes a lot of epoxy. That all went pretty well, until it came time to apply the layup to the rib-spar-skin intersections. Then it begins to move like it has a mind of its own. Then the bubbles emerge. Then chasing the bubbles. Then more chasing the bubbles. Then, oh well, what a mess. I was able to salvage from the exercise what I believe is a sound layup, but it ain't pretty. Still a few bubbles, but not too many. After a while, curing just prevents chasing more bubbles. Not a work of art, but who's looking? Oh yeah.
