Brief Description:  Canopy hinge supports.

Canopy shims were used to initially locate the hinge support brackets. The shims will eventually be removed to compensate for the force of the gas struts. I'll have to adjust as necessary since I'm going to have an electric canopy actuator. I may use more, less, the same or no gas struts at all. Much more on that later. The supports were bonded in with flox.

Hard points were added to the cockpit side of the firewall for the gas strut brackets. Although hard points were already in the firewall, the 8 BID carbon layups serve to reinforce a high stress area due to the force exerted on the firewall by the gas struts.
