Removed the panel again and tested the pins on the SL-40. There were errors on both the Mic and Headphones. SL40 did not light power up. Took it to Bragg Avionics and it is now enroute to Garmin for repairs.
Update - Unit overhauled by GARMIN. Unit working fine now.
