Spent the day working on rigging the floats. The rear cross beam that attaches to the fuselage for the float mounting did not fit the mounts on the fuselage. The distance was off by about 3/16 of an inch. After considerable time spent and consulting with Lockwood, we deciced to ream the holes to 3/8 from 5/16. Installing the forward mounts into the landing gear mounts on the fuselage was also a problem. The left one inserted and fit fairly easily. The right one did not. It appears to be about .004 bigger than the landing gear socket. Will continue to work on it tommorow.
