Today, I worked to fabricate the pilot door latch. I re-riveted the square tube the Delrin passes through as I didn't have a good enough fit. It's very difficult to get a grip on the rivet under the gusset. I then cut the slot in the 1 inch angle and the door skin for the handle. The angle requires countersunk rivet holes and the skin dimples. All that takes some time to get correct and filed smooth.
