Today, I did some final trimming on the lower front of the windshield, and then I rounded over the edges all the way around the windshield. Next, I added packing tape all over the areas where the windshiedl mated to the fuselage, and then taped the windshield in place. I then used packing tape to make a fillet and extended it in both directions to keep the fiberglass resin off the windshield. After dinner, I spent several hours laying up four inch strips, three thick around the sides and the forward bottom.
