Today, I painted the two fore/aft aileron torque tubes. I actually made them one size larger than necessary. I used CC--28 end caps in 1" tubing instead of CC-29 end caps in 3/4" tubing. That mistake cost me $150 in four more CC-28 end caps I will need for two more torque tubes between the root rib and the wing.
Next, I worked on cutting the slots in the roof for the flap control tube and the cable leading to the flap horn. I'll work on that some more in the next session.
I also added a section of vibration dampening material in the center section (foil appearance) where I wouldn't be able to reach later on.
