Today, I completed preparation of the firewall, drilled the final holes, and then cleaned and primed the witches hat for the firewall. Next I fabricated the pulley assemblies for the rudder pedals. In this aircraft, the cables go forward through the firewall and then down and aft. Next, I disassembled the forward side assemblies and cleaned, deburred, prep'd, primed and then reassembled. It all takes longer than you think.
