Today we took everything apart, deburred, cleaned, prep'd and primed, then reinstalled and riveted the two inch straps in place. We then put the cargo bulkhead skins in place and will rivet them tomorrow. In the meantime, I uncleco'd the vertical fin spar from the tail gearbox area, and unbolted the brackets holding the pivot ball. I removed it, after great difficulty, and took it over to my friend Charlie's tonight for him to machine it out to 1 1/16 inch to allow clearance for the new modified tail stinger.
