Brief Description: EAA Technical Counselor Visit #1
Today, Gale Derosier, EAA Technical Counselor from EAA Chapter 32 visited Folkerts Aircraft Works. I asked Gale to look at the right wing before I closed it up. We spent several hours in the shop and looked at all the work to date, including the mistakes, problem areas, and fixes. He was pleased with my work and recommended I develop a method to physically check off each step in the manual as I completed it, rather than just mentally remembering what I've done/not done. This was a good recommendation -- one I'll implement to avoid forgetting something in the future.
