Brief Description: Left Wing Control Tube Installation
This morning, I basically worked off my punch list. I safetied the control tube attach bolt per the Murphy Mod. However, I didn't want to drill holes in the tube so I borrowed an idea I saw on the Murphy Builders Site and used a clamp. It moves in concert with the bolt head.
Next, I completed installation of the aileron/flap hinges except for the most outboard one. I'll finish it later as I had a wooden doubler in the way for my rotisserie.
Finally, I riveted the leading edge spar on to the ribs, including the root attach fitting.
