Today, I drilled and tapped the eight holes that hold the two stick grips in place. The sticks were thick 4130 and required a #43 drill bit and a 4-40 tap. I was very proud that I didn't break a tap, but I did break two drill bits.
Finally, I worked to fasten the power distribution buses in place on the lower right front panel. I still have a bit more work to do there, but am nearly finished. That panel should not have to come off again. That said, I won't final rivet until later.
